Company Policies
Qualifications to see properties:
It's our company policy at Home Court Real Estate LLC that you're required to provide a pre-approval letter, pre-qualification letter, or proof of funds to see property with our agents. We want to make sure that you're comfortable with your budget, estimated mortgage payment, down payment, and closing costs before we get started with your property search. We don't require you to show ID or sign an exclusive broker agreement but will ask you to sign an agency and anti-discrimination disclosure.
It's also good to find a real estate attorney that you want to use because this information will be needed when you decide to put in an offer on a property along with your pre-approval letter, pre-qualification letter, or proof of funds.
Required documents to see properties for sale:
If you're financing your purchase then you will need to provide a pre-qualification or pre-approval letter issued within the last 90 days.
If you're paying cash then you will need to provide proof of funds via a recent bank account statement.
Documents not required when seeing properties:
- Proof of identification
- Exclusive Broker Agreement
Disclosures requested to be signed when seeing properties
- Agency Disclosure
- Anti-Discrimination Disclosure
